What to Expect

First time visiting a new church can be intimidating. Here are some common questions we get to help you feel more comfortable.

What should I wear?

"Come as you are! We have a mix of everything from casual attire (jeans and a t-shirt) to more traditional Sunday clothes. The most important thing is that you're here."

How long is the service?

"Our Sunday service usually lasts about 90 minutes. We have a time of praise and worship, announcements, and a message from the pastor."

Do you have anything for kids?

"Yes! We have a dedicated children's ministry during our Sunday service where kids can learn about Jesus in a fun and safe environment."

Are visitors required to give?

"Not at all. The offering is for our regular attendees to give back to God through our church. As our guest, you are not expected to give."

Our Story: A Family of Faith

True Light Christian Centre was founded in 20XX with a simple desire to be a light in our local community. From a small Bible study group, we have grown into a loving church where every person is embraced as family. Our journey is a testament to God's faithfulness and the beautiful community spirit of our people.

**Mission:** To make disciples who love God, love one another, and serve our community.

**Core Beliefs:**

  • We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God and the ultimate authority for faith and life.
  • We believe that salvation is a gift from God, received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
  • We believe in the power of prayer and the importance of a personal relationship with God.

Prophet Mark Makoyawo has faithfully served in ministry for more than a decade, sharing the love of Christ and guiding people into a deeper relationship with God. Known for his compassion, dedication to prayer, and prophetic calling, he continues to inspire others with his teachings and unwavering faith. His life verse is John 3:16, a reminder of God’s love for the world.
